Lancaster Archery Academy April-May Newsletter

Winter hit us kind of late here in Lancaster, Pa., but it is officially Spring!

The changing of the season has us fired up to be able to shoot both indoors and out. If you’re interested in taking a class to learn archery, or you want the kids to experience a summer archery camp, we’ve got something lined up for you.

We’ve got multiple, 6-week classes starting soon in our Experience Archery, and Intermediate Archery courses. Listed below are the start dates and class times. Unless specified, classes are open to all archers age 6 and older. Call (717) 556-1379 for information on any of the activities listed below.

EXPERIENCE ARCHERY – ALL AGES:  April 3 and April 12, 6:30-7:30 p.m.; April 29, 8:30-9:30 a.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.; May 15 and 24, 5-6 p.m.

INTERMEDIATE ARCHERY: April 3 and 12, 5-6 p.m.; April 29, 10-11 a.m.; May 15 and 24, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

INTRO to COMPETITIVE ARCHERY: April 29, 8:30-9:30 a.m.


LEVEL 2April 21-22.


PA FITA STATE INDOORS: March 25-26; 60-arrow FITA round. Register here.

SPRING FORWARD TOURNAMENT: April 8-9; 60-arrow, Star FITA round. Register here.

EXPLORE ARCHERY SUMMER DAY CAMP: We have 4-day camps beginning June 12 and June 26. Camp runs from 8:30 a.m.-noon and introduces kids age 7-17 to all the basics and fundamentals of archery. Register here.

ADVANCED TRAINING CAMP: Spend three days working with our coaches on advanced training techniques, mental focus and group activities. Register here.

COFFEE CLUB: Join us every Friday morning at 9 a.m. to eat donuts, drink coffee and shoot your bow.
