How to adjust your bow’s timing

In this third installment of Nocked and Ready to Rock, John Dudley talks about bow timing. With any dual-cam, hybrid cam or cam-and-a-half system, the cams have to rotate precisely the same to achieve correct timing. Otherwise, accuracy suffers. Likewise, Dudley explains, the cams should remain vertical through the draw cycle. If one or both lean, then there’s a problem.

Dudley walks through the steps he takes to correct cam lean and incorrect timing. He shows how to identify the problem, and then how to fix it.

The Nocked and Ready to Rock series encompasses 13 episodes that walk through the entire process of setting up a compound bow to shoot.
